Special Holiday Event

December 14 marked a wonderful day of fabulous music, food, fun, and families! Our video montage captures some wonderful highlights of six different jam band performances. Student groups ranged in age from 4th -12th graders. Several have been music.4.life students their entire lives. Literally, since they were babies! Two High School seniors have been in guitar lessons with John for seven years. We welcomed several new students to jam bands this year. Families heard a huge range of artists and styles from Elvis to Regina Spektor: current pop hits like “Safe and Sound” and “Riptide,” classic hits such as “Layla” and “Hotel California,” blues selections, “The Thrill is Gone”, and “Merry Christmas Baby,” jazz standard “Blue Bossa” as well as jazz version of “The Grinch” arranged by John Gurske. We are so proud of all of our students and look forward to our next performance in the spring!
